2026 SCHOLARSHIP

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Beta Zeta Chapter is now accepting applications for its 2025-2026 scholarships. This scholarship is open to female high school seniors graduating from a Newport News or Hampton high school.  This $1,000 scholarship recognizes a student's outstanding academic achievement and commitment to community service throughout their high school career.  The award will be granted upon verification of the recipient’s acceptance and enrollment in a four-year institution.

Scholarship Application Deadline: ⏳ 11:59 PM on March 15, 2026

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 

TO QUALIFY, APPLICANTS MUST:

• Be a resident of Newport News or Hampton, Virginia

• Be a female graduating senior from a Newport News or Hampton high school

• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Have applied to a 4-year institution. Scholarship award contingent upon enrollment into a 4-year institution

• Completed application

• Headshot and Brief Bio 

• Essay

• Resume

• Transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable)

• Two Letters of Recommendation​
